The Saltern Caravan Park is situated on one of the most delightful holiday resorts to be found along the coastline of Pembrokeshire. The scenery of Tenby is unrivalled and the beaches are superb.  The picturesque seaside town of Tenby is just a few minutes walk away from our Park so during your stay with us you can relax and enjoy all that Tenby has to offer without travelling any distance whatsoever.   During the summer the centre of Tenby has been pedestrianised, so you can walk into the town and enjoy the quiet streets free of motorised vehicles

		A short walk of approximately 400 yards will take you behind the old town walls and right into the centre to Tenby.
		Our Park is both small and friendly and also a very short walk from Tenby's Coach Park and Railway Station.  See  Map below
		We have fifty-eight static caravans on the park.  Luxury models offer all modern conveniences.  Please see our price list for details.

For your convenience, a small launderette is available.  There is a small shop just outside the Park where groceries can be bought.	Click to see more detail
Children are free to play on the well maintained grass areas whilst surfaced areas and parking bays are reserved for car parking.
We offer fully serviced sited caravans, but do not offer pitches for tents or touring caravans

Location and Local Activities

Just a short distance from the Park is Tenby's picturesque harbour (picture above) and				the resorts four sandy beaches, all of which provide safe bathing and are ideal for most watersports

Some of the activities that Tenby has to offer include an 18 hole championship Gold Course and its greens are said to be amongst the finest in Wales. The club holds its Annual Tenby Golf Week during the first week in June and there are special prizes for those golfers visiting the area. Good fishing is to be found in the off Tenby and the neighbouring village of Saundersfoot and also around the charming island of Caldey. Fishing trips can be arranged from the harbour. Windsurfing is also very popular in both Tenby and nearby Saundersfoot.  The Tenby Sailing Club is open during the summer months and visiting Yachtsmen can use its facilities. There are several good riding stables in the area Tenby indoor heated swimming pool and leisure centre is approximately 500 yards from the Caravan Park entrance. There are also a number of theme and leisure parks to be found in the surrounding area.
